Verde Search is partnering with one of the leading accountancy firms in the UK and Ireland to appoint an Audit Senior Manager to a specialist sector team. This is a well-established team with a strong reputation, working closely with colleagues in London on a growing roster of clients in the creative and media industries. The sector has grown quickly in Ireland in recent years and continues to attract international investment, so the team is building for the long term. You’ll report directly to the partners and deal with the people who make the decisions at each client.
The work goes beyond a standard audit book. Alongside audits, you’ll handle accounts preparation, one-off assignments and advisory projects, so the variety is real. 💥 As Audit Senior Manager you will:
Manage your own client portfolio, from planning through to delivery
Act as lead contact for audit, accounts and compliance work
Control budgets, review files and resolve key issues with partners and clients
Lead and develop the team, keeping quality high
Advise clients commercially and help grow the portfolio with new work
💥 You’ll be someone who:
Is a qualified accountant with 3+ years’ PQE, including 2 years at management level
Has strong technical audit and accounting knowledge
Can run several assignments at once without losing grip of the detail
Leads teams well and builds strong client relationships
Is keen to build expertise in a fast-growing sector, with no prior sector experience required
